Manuel Acevedo
Worker for 1994 to 2003 at the United Nations Development Programme (PNUD) and UN Volunteers. He set up the UN e-Volunteer Unit, responsible for launching the programme UNITES and the UN Volunteer Service On Line. He was the official representative of the UN Volunteers in the World Summit on the Information Society and the UN ICT Task Force. Today, he works as International consultant on ICT and development, as well as in knowledge management for development cooperation. He acts also as advisor for the Spanish International Cooperation Secretary on the ICT integration in the Spanish cooperation.
